Grounded in evidence-based approaches and a compassionate therapeutic relationship, these one-to-one sessions provide a safe space to explore patterns, navigate life challenges, and reconnect with your inner resilience. Together, we work at your pace in a safe, collaborative space grounded in trust, compassion, and respect to foster insight, self-compassion, and meaningful change.
Clinical Modalities
I integrate evidence-based psychological approaches, including:
- Person-Centred Therapy: creating a safe, empathic, and non-judgemental space
- Psychodynamic Therapy: exploring patterns shaped by early experiences and relationships
- Narrative Therapy: supporting you to explore, re-author, and reclaim your story beyond dominant or problem-saturated narratives
- Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT): offering practical strategies for managing thoughts, emotions, and behaviours
- Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT): reducing shame and cultivating self-compassion
The Body–Mind Connection
Healing often goes beyond words. Where appropriate, and always with your consent, we may additionally, also explore neuroscience-informed, body-based practices to support nervous system regulation and emotional safety.
You are encouraged to notice what feels supportive for you, and we adapt together based on your experience.
These may include:
- Breath-based practices (such as pranayama)
- Mindfulness and meditation for grounding and presence
- Gentle sound-based regulation tools to support emotional settling
What to Expect in Your First Session
Before we begin ongoing work, you’ll be offered an initial assessment session. This is a gentle, exploratory space where we can discuss what brings you to therapy at this point in your life and begin to explore your story, experiences, and hopes for healing.
The purpose of this session is to understand what you need and to consider together what kind of approach might best support you. It’s also an opportunity for you to get a feel for how I work and ask any questions you may have.
Disclaimer
Please note: I offer both counselling and coaching as separate services. Coaching is not a substitute for therapy, and therapeutic clients will not be provided with coaching simultaneously. This ensures ethical boundaries, clarity, and focused support.
